Lucia's relationship with her beloved passy has become increasingly "passionate". We think it is about time for her to let go. I figured it was time for her to do this when she started "preferring" the blue passy over any of the others, just based on color. Now if she could only get on the potty first.

We decided to tackle one problem at a time. We stopped the passy about 2 weeks ago. We had already weaned her down to bedtimes only. Then I told her she was a big girl and only babies use binkies. She did cry some and the peditrician said she would because she has to learn another way to self sooth. But happy to say now she doesn't seem to miss it. Next potty.....Good luck.
Good luck! Our transition wasn't too bad, he forgot about it after a day or two.
Fin had hers until January - OF THIS YEAR. Yes, she was four. Hang in there. :-)
