Baby Hansen update!

The Big Switcheroo

In anticipation of Baby Hansen arriving in 20 short weeks, we've begun getting our apartment in order. Since our big trip to Norway is the better part of May and early June, and by the time we get home and rested, Mama Hansen is likely going to be as big as a house and into full-on nesting. So, this weekend, we're switching the big bedroom with the office. The big bedroom is 12x14, and the office is 10x13. We're going to make the office our bedroom and vice versa. This way, the old office will now become the nursery, guest room and of course, office. We've bought some lovely shelves to organize Pete's work space, and looked at cribs and dressers for Baby Hansen yesterday. Fun!

We'll post before and after pictures this weekend.

Ahem.

Um, that is NOT our ultrasound video. Methinks someone is playing an early April Fool's joke on the three readers that we have. :)

Greetings everyone. I'm feeling really good, I think I've turned the corner now that I'm into the second trimester. Food is tasting normal again, which is great. I'm craving normal things again, like salads (vs. all waffles and bread and pizza). I'm 14.5 weeks along and the belly gets bigger and bigger. Pete and I laughed about it yesterday. I'm excited to find out the gender of The Wee, and we have a general game plan for how we're going to get everything done over the next five months. It sounds like it's a long time; it's not!

In other news, Pete got the very-close-to final blessing from his design professor on Friday to send out his portfolio and to start applying for jobs in the car industry. The timing (for me) is scary, given all that's coming up, but I'm hoping he gets a great job and I'm excited for him to start his career.
